Born in Indonesia,1942.Stemming from a family with artistic skills ( musicians and painters); starting with great-uncle Frans Lebret and his nephew Thijs Mauve. Grandparents, their children and grandchildren were / are all involved in art. Got lots of advice since picking up a pencil for the first time.
In 1947 to the Netherlands. University of Utrecht. Several vocational courses in art (woodcarving, drawing, ceramics, photography) in Voorschoten and The Hague.

1985 till 1994 collages, drawings, photos. Lectures, expositions and shows about Het Andere Amerika (Native Cultures in the USA) in the Netherlands and Belgium. For educational purposes.
1994 living in Curaçao, New Mexico and Portugal. More and more into poetry and digital art.
